So what's there to tell about me ? Let's go!
It all started when I got my first BMX bicycle as a kid, and it has followed me ever since. Through my teenage years, I often rode through the woods on my mountain bike, which I paid dearly from my job as a paperboy, and in high school I entered my first competition. My bike was always there to give me that thrill and energy I needed to help me pass many obstacles (pun intended) in my life.
Years later, I am not so daring anymore, and with a few accidents (amongst other reasons) I do not try to take on the world (forest) anymore at the fastest pace possible. I have slowed down.
But that is a good thing.
By slowing down, I have found where I want to be. And that is becoming a Media Graphics artist. To live in Odense, and to wake up every morning to learn about something I care deeply about is a great gift.
Just a few years ago, I worked in a larger enterprise, had the best co-workers and had a wonderful and challenging job and money to travel the world. I thought I had it all. It was not until I got into doing graphic design and photography that I realized the potential that was in store for me. Creating something is quite… something.
Despite the years that have passed, the spirit of the Raleigh Burner is always with me. If it is a whole bike vacation or if it is "just" a day trip to the forest to take some photographs, I still get the same thrills and the wonderful energy as did back then.
